Role Overview

Join the Operational Excellence team within the Strategy and Corporate Development department (LIFT-Office) at EUROGATE GmbH & Co. KGaA, KG. As a Lean Manager based primarily in Bremen or Hamburg, you will play a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement and sustainable enhancement of value creation efficiency across EUROGATE’s German sites. This position aligns strategic objectives with operational execution and promotes organizational development through a learning Lean culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze processes, value streams, and obstacles to identify improvement opportunities using benchmarks and best practices.
• Develop a tailored company-wide Lean strategy and oversee its coordinated implementation across locations.
• Establish Lean competencies by empowering leadership and staff to embed Lean principles sustainably.
• Plan and facilitate Lean workshops and monitor outcomes through structured progress tracking, including preparing professional presentations.
• Collaborate in ongoing development of methods, tools, and standards for process, knowledge, and idea management.
• Integrate Lean initiatives into strategic control systems and into goal and performance management frameworks.
• Promote a Lean culture throughout the organization in line with existing values and leadership principles.

Qualifications and Skills

• Degree in engineering, economics, or a related field.
• Several years of professional experience with a proven record in implementing substantial optimization projects.
• Strong expertise in Lean Management, Six Sigma, and process management.
• Experience in transformation projects and change management.
• Proficient with project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and team collaboration skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at various levels.
• Strong strategic thinking complemented by effective practical execution.
• Organized, efficient, and able to prioritize effectively in a digital workplace environment.
• High degree of initiative, responsibility, flexibility, and willingness to innovate and adapt.
• Fluent in both German and English, spoken and written.
• Willingness to travel to German sites as needed.
