Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Windsor, ON team. As a Labourer, you will be integral to our daily operations, assisting in the safe dismantling and recycling of vehicles. This role is ideal for those with a passion for automobiles and a preference for hands-on work.
Responsibilities
- Safely dismantle and depollute vehicles using both hand and power tools.
- Prepare vehicles for subsequent resale or display within the yard.
- Remove wheels, rims, and tires from vehicles.
- Clean, test, and sort batteries for resale purposes.
- Organize and sort salvaged parts for inventory management.
- Maintain a tidy and organized work area and yard environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a general labour or comparable role is required.
- Possess the physical stamina to lift up to 50lbs.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-paced setting.
- Proficiency in the use of hand tools and power tools.
- Demonstrated reliability and a willingness to acquire new skills across different business functions.
- Comfortable working outdoors in diverse weather conditions.
