Junior Trouble Shooter

Overview

The Junior Trouble Shooter is responsible for addressing and resolving breakdowns and callbacks within their designated area, managing at least 150 units under maintenance. This role involves ensuring safety compliance, performing maintenance tasks, and supporting team efforts to reduce equipment issues.

Primary Duties

• Strictly follow company safety and compliance guidelines.
• Properly receive, utilize, and maintain Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Manage and care for assigned tools effectively.
• Conduct audits based on the '10 Rules'.
• Carry out corrective maintenance work and replace parts as needed.
• Implement action plans aimed at minimizing entrapment incidents, breakdowns, and callbacks.
• Assist senior Trouble Shooters in developing and executing strategies to prevent recurring equipment failures.
• Perform quality inspections on third-party equipment when assigned.
• Complete and submit required checklists and activity reports accurately.
• Conduct safety and quality assessments on equipment upon instruction.
• Notify supervisors or management promptly of any unusual findings or abnormalities.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years' experience in the elevator and escalator industry focusing on both preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Strong decision-making abilities.
• Fluency in Tagalog and either Hindi or Urdu languages.
