Junior Safety Coordinator

Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Safety Coordinator to join our team in Tuas, West Region, Singapore. This role involves oversight and promotion of safety standards within site operations to maintain a secure working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations to guarantee safety compliance.
• Support the operations department with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) matters on-site or at client locations.
• Carry out routine safety inspections on site and prepare detailed inspection reports.
• Participate actively in safety meetings to discuss safety concerns and improvements.
• Lead toolbox talks to communicate safety topics to workers effectively.
• Assist the Safety Manager with upkeep of the WSH management system documentation.
• Keep updated records for maintenance of machinery and equipment.
• Ensure all site operations adhere strictly to applicable legal and regulatory safety standards.
• Help investigate incidents and assist in preparing incident reports.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by supervisors or management.

Qualifications and Skills

• No prior work experience is necessary; comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.
• Strong team player with the ability to function independently under minimal supervision.
