About ALEC Technologies

Role Overview
We are seeking a Junior Planning Engineer to assist our planning team with preparing, monitoring, and reporting project schedules for major projects in the UAE. This is an on-site role designed to help you build expertise in construction planning and project control.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in creating and updating project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
- Track project progress versus baseline schedules.
- Gather and unify progress data from site teams and subcontractors.
- Compile weekly and monthly reports, dashboards, and upcoming work plans.
- Help identify project delays and support development of recovery strategies.
- Maintain thorough and organized planning documentation.
- Support overall project controls, delay analyses, progress reporting, and preparation of Extension of Time (EOT) submissions.
Candidate Profile
- Holds at least a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Possesses a minimum of 2 years experience in construction planning roles.
- Has exposure to projects involving infrastructure, buildings, airports, or MEP/ELV systems.
- Proficient in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel.
- Understanding of project progress reporting and earned value management principles.
- Experience with Power BI and PowerPoint is an advantage.
- Strong analytical capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and eagerness to learn.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in teams.
