About the Role
Elas na Tecnologia seeks a motivated Junior Financial Analyst to join its finance team in Berlin. This full-time, entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates or professionals starting their careers who want to develop expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting. The role supports strategic decision-making through thorough financial data analysis and business insight generation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and management reports.
- Analyze financial data, detect trends, and offer actionable insights for business decisions.
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Develop financial models, perform variance analyses, and generate profitability reports.
- Monitor key performance indicators and identify potential risks and growth opportunities.
- Support cost, revenue, and operational performance assessments.
- Ensure financial records and reports are accurate via reconciliation efforts.
- Conduct market, competitor, and industry research to aid planning efforts.
- Collaborate with accounting, operations, and business units to gather and validate financial data.
- Assist audit undertakings, ensuring adherence to internal finance policies and procedures.
- Maintain financial databases, spreadsheets, and documentation for reporting purposes.
- Keep updated on financial regulations, accounting standards, and market changes.
Candidate Requirements
- Fundamental knowledge of financial statements, accounting principles, and financial analysis methods.
- Strong expertise with Microsoft Excel including PivotTables, formulas, charts, and data analysis tools.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving capabilities.
- High attention to detail and precision in financial reporting.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic familiarity with financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis is beneficial.
- Experience or knowledge of ERP systems (like SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) or BI tools (such as Power BI, Tableau) is advantageous.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational and time management aptitude.
- Preferably holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related discipline. Professional certifications or progress toward CFA Level I, ACCA, or CPA are a plus.
