Role summary
In this position, you will help the wider team work with data, produce useful insights, and strengthen decision-making across the organisation. The role is well suited to someone at the start of their career who enjoys exploring data, solving problems, and turning numbers into practical recommendations.
You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather, prepare, and interpret data, spot patterns, measure performance, and share findings that help shape strategy. The role also offers exposure to modern analytics tools while partnering with product, marketing, and commercial teams on data-led initiatives.
Core responsibilities
- Gather data from several sources, then prepare and structure it for analysis.
- Review datasets to uncover trends, recurring patterns, and growth opportunities.
- Create dashboards and reports that monitor business performance.
- Provide support for one-off analysis requests and insight generation.
- Contribute to improving and maintaining the quality of data.
- Work with tools such as Excel, SQL, and BI platforms to pull out insights.
- Look for opportunities to simplify or automate recurring reporting tasks.
- Share findings in a clear and understandable way with internal teams.
What the company is looking for
The ideal candidate will bring 0–2 years of experience in data analysis, analytics, or a similar field, along with strong problem-solving ability and a structured analytical mindset. Confidence using Excel, Google Sheets, or comparable tools is expected. Basic SQL or other querying knowledge is preferred, and familiarity with visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker would be an advantage.
You should also be detail-oriented, naturally curious about data, and able to explain insights simply and clearly. A bachelor’s degree in data, economics, mathematics, statistics, or a related subject is preferred, although equivalent experience will also be considered.
