Job Overview
We are seeking a Junior Android HMI Developer to join our team based in Pune or Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have between 3 to 7 years of experience in Android application development, particularly for automotive infotainment systems.
Responsibilities and Skills
- Develop Android applications using Java for automotive infotainment platforms.
- Demonstrate thorough understanding of Android framework components and lifecycle.
- Write clean, maintainable code using Java and Kotlin programming languages.
- Debug applications efficiently using tools such as logcat and ADB.
- Apply Object-Oriented Programming principles and design patterns including MVP, MVVM, and Observer in application development.
- Integrate third-party libraries, APIs, and Android SDK tools to enhance application functionality.
- Utilize Android Studio IDE for app development and testing.
- Work with jUnit and other test automation frameworks to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Familiarity with Gradle and Android make files is a plus.
- Experience with Android Open Source Project (AOSP) build systems, version control via Gerrit, and related tools is advantageous.
