Job overview

The Finance Executive will support financial operations across three entities: Shipa Freight Solution LLC, KSK Logistics LLC, and Boxit4me Inc. The position focuses on keeping accounts accurate, producing reliable reports, and handling important finance routines, including the yearly audit.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounting activity for two UAE businesses, Shipa Freight Solution LLC and KSK Logistics LLC, as well as the US entity, Boxit4me Inc.
• Review company books in depth and oversee more advanced accounting postings.
• Compile and share precise financial statements with senior leadership.
• Coordinate financial transactions and activities with other Shipa group entities.
• Examine and settle intercompany entries.
• Monitor bank activity and oversee cash management.
• Take ownership of the annual audit cycle and act as the primary contact for outside auditors.
• Create and keep up-to-date cash flow projections.
• Maintain compliance with applicable local tax requirements, especially in the UAE.
• Handle banking-related operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related discipline.
• Approximately 5 years of progressive experience in a junior finance management or accounting position.
• Prior experience working as an accountant.

• Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and financial reporting standards.
• Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting ability.
• Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to balance several entities and priorities at once.
• Comfort working independently with minimal supervision.
• Skilled in financial systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Good working knowledge of UAE tax rules and compliance requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience with domestic and international banking operations.
