Position Location
The role is based in the Frankfurt area (Neu-Isenburg, Hesse), Germany.
Role Responsibilities
As a member of the Germany/Austria IT support team, you will manage incoming requests via hotline, telephone, email, and ticketing for 1st Level Service Desk issues related to Henry Schein's IT infrastructure. Duties include client and troubleshooting support, involvement with Security Operations (SecOps), occasional onsite assistance, supporting employee relocations, configuring clients using deployment tools, and providing basic support for Alcatel telephone systems. Fluency in German or equivalent is required, alongside availability for 24/7 on-call rotation every six weeks.
Technical Requirements
- Extensive knowledge and experience in client/user support with Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems
- Proficiency with MS Outlook and Office 365 suite
- Active Directory administration
- Printer and print server management
- General IT skills encompassing hardware and software
- Strong troubleshooting capabilities
Desirable knowledge includes:
- Networking fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP
- Basic Windows Server 2016/2019 administration
- Omnivista administration for Alcatel systems
- ITIL v3 framework familiarity

Qualifications
