Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated IT Support Officer to join our team remotely, exclusively for candidates based in Australia. This entry-level role focuses on delivering technical assistance and fostering a customer-focused approach to IT issues while supporting our internal operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver first-level support for hardware, software, and internal IT systems.
- Address IT support inquiries via email, chat, and ticketing tools promptly and efficiently.
- Set up, install, and maintain computers, laptops, mobile devices, and office applications.
- Manage user account setup, password resets, and access control tasks.
- Troubleshoot problems with network connections, VPN services, printers, email, and other system components.
- Maintain clear documentation of support actions, solutions provided, and knowledge base articles.
- Work alongside internal departments to enhance IT processes and ensure a smooth support experience.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Fundamental understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking basics.
- Experience or familiarity with Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or comparable productivity suites.
- Strong analytical capabilities coupled with effective troubleshooting aptitude.
- Outstanding communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
