Role overview
A leading global investment bank is hiring an Investment Banking Associate for its London team. The position focuses on transaction execution, financial analysis, and support across advisory and capital markets engagements.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and update detailed financial models, valuation work, and transaction support documents.
- Assist with the delivery of mergers and acquisitions, capital markets assignments, and broader strategic advisory mandates.
- Create client-facing presentation decks, pitch materials, information memoranda, and management discussion packs.
- Carry out company valuation, industry analysis, and financial research to support live deals and new business efforts.
- Collaborate with senior bankers and clients through all phases of the transaction process.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a similar field.
- Between 3 and 5 years of relevant experience in Investment Banking, M&A, Corporate Finance, Transaction Services, or another advisory setting.
- Excellent capability in financial modelling, valuation, analysis, and structured problem solving.
- Knowledge of additional languages would be advantageous.
