Role overview
This opportunity is with a major global investment firm that has built a strong reputation over more than four decades. They are looking to add an Investment Associate / Senior Associate to a team focused on reviewing an Asset-Based Finance (ABF) portfolio.
What you'll do
- Track the trading performance of Asset-Based Finance investments by reviewing detailed financial statements and speaking with the underlying companies.
- Work across areas such as Asset-Based Finance, Asset-Backed Securitisation, Asset-Backed Securities (ABS), and Asset-Based Lending.
- Carry out investment analysis to support decision-making.
- Build financial models and run sensitivity analyses.
- Prepare quarterly review materials and present findings to Investment Committees.
What the employer is looking for
- Between 4 and 7 years of relevant experience, ideally in investment banking, infrastructure, real estate, aircraft leasing, corporate finance, private equity, transaction services, or restructuring.
- A strong academic record.
- ACA or CFA qualifications are not mandatory, but would be viewed favorably.
- Solid commercial judgement and a strong grasp of financial statements and financial modelling.
