Interior Site Incharge

About the Role

Studio Strait Arc is seeking a motivated and dependable Interior Site Incharge to support the management of interior execution projects. This position suits individuals with foundational knowledge of interior works who are keen to learn and develop their expertise. Extensive prior experience is not necessary as comprehensive training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily on-site operations and activities.
• Coordinate with tradespeople including carpenters, electricians, plumbers, painters, and other subcontractors.
• Ensure that all work complies with provided drawings and instructions.
• Monitor workmanship quality and report any concerns promptly.
• Track and manage material deliveries, ensuring proper utilization on-site.
• Document progress through daily photographs and share updates regularly.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards on-site.
• Communicate project status to the Project Manager or Designer.
• Help resolve minor issues that arise during site work.
• Ensure timely completion in accordance with project schedules.

Basic Knowledge & Skills

• Fundamental understanding of interior fit-out processes.
• Ability to interpret simple drawings is a plus; training will be provided.
• Familiarity with common interior materials like plywood, laminates, hardware fittings, and paint preferred.
• Basic measuring capabilities using tape measures.
• Competence with smartphone tools such as WhatsApp, Google Maps, and camera for effective communication and reporting.
• Strong communication skills and punctuality.
• Enthusiasm for learning and a problem-solving mindset.
• Capability to coordinate effectively with multiple workers and maintain records.
• Positive team-oriented attitude.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

Diploma, ITI, or Bachelor's degree in any field is preferred. Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of experience are encouraged to apply. Prior exposure to interior design, construction, or site supervision is advantageous but not essential.
