Information Technology Project Manager - WMS Implementation

Role Overview

This position is responsible for managing information technology workstreams specifically related to Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementations, whether onboarding new clients or migrating legacy systems. The role requires close partnership with Business Project Managers to ensure seamless execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement prescribed project methodologies and governance standards using approved tools and documents across all assigned projects.
• Collaborate with Business Project Managers, customers, operations, and business units at project initiation to definitively establish project scope.
• Lead and drive IT-related project activities ensuring delivery within time, budget, and in alignment with the business goals.
• Generate project updates including status reports and contribute actively to steering committee meetings.
• Identify potential risks and issues early, managing and applying mitigation strategies promptly.
• Coordinate with relevant teams to plan cutover, go-live, and hypercare phases effectively.
• Identify and secure necessary resources to meet defined project requirements.
• Develop a thorough understanding of interrelated tasks and maintain proactive communication to ensure timely advancement of project deliverables.
