Role Overview

We seek a skilled Industrial Designer with a keen eye for detail to join our Industrial Design & Innovation team. This role offers a chance to develop visually engaging and disruptive market products that tackle everyday consumer needs. You'll work across diverse product lines to produce creative, insight-driven designs that deliver meaningful user experiences and make a lasting impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate innovative solutions to everyday design challenges.
• Identify design opportunities and issues that produce high return on investment.
• Oversee multiple projects from research stages through to commercially viable concept development.
• Push boundaries to create disruptive and original product designs.
• Build basic test rigs and prototypes to evaluate concepts.
• Produce 3D printed models for testing and refinement.
• Collaborate with fellow designers and design managers within the team.
• Effectively communicate concepts to senior leadership.
• Work with design managers to prepare precise and clear handover presentations.
• Ensure timely delivery of concepts aligned with critical project deadlines.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Industrial Design or Product Design.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated strong industrial design abilities with proven successful outcomes.
• A portfolio showcasing inventive designs transformed into market-ready products.
• Excellent time management abilities to meet tight schedules across multiple projects.
• Great communication skills to present ideas to senior teams.
• Good knowledge of manufacturing methods and processes.
• Proficiency in design software, including Adobe Creative Suite, Solidworks, and KeyShot.
• Creative thinking with a self-driven motivation to generate impactful ideas.
• Hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset with adaptability and reliability in team interactions.
• Capability to challenge traditional ideas while maintaining commercial viability.
