Role Overview

The Independent Delivery Agent position is a full-time, on-location role based in Kumasi, Ghana. The individual in this role will be responsible for collecting parcels, ensuring prompt and precise deliveries to customers, and managing cash-on-delivery transactions in accordance with company protocols. Key daily duties include planning delivery routes, coordinating logistics in assigned zones, safeguarding parcels and payment handling, updating order status reports, communicating delivery results, and addressing straightforward customer concerns or delivery challenges. Compliance with safety policies and maintaining professional behavior to achieve superior delivery outcomes and client satisfaction is expected.

Qualifications and Skills

• Excellent customer service aptitude demonstrated by clear communication, respectful interactions, and basic problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational capabilities and effective time management to plan routes, juggle multiple deliveries, and accomplish daily goals.
• Competence in cash handling with accurate documentation of payments and deliveries and adherence to established procedures.
• Proficiency with basic technology tools including smartphones or handheld devices for navigation, tracking, and reporting functions.
• Familiarity with Kumasi and adjacent areas, enabling efficient navigation adapting to local traffic environments.
• Reliability, integrity, and accountability when operating independently.
• Prior experience in delivery, courier services, logistics, or similar field work is favorable but not mandatory.
• Possession of valid identification and any required licenses or permits to perform delivery agent responsibilities.
