Role Overview

The Human Resources Specialist will serve as a Senior Employee Experience Partner, providing daily management, support, and expert guidance in the execution and administration of HR policies, programs, and procedures. This position focuses on enhancing the employee experience by facilitating onboarding, utilizing self-service HR tools, and delivering shared services support to employees and managers.

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage employee experience initiatives including onboarding and HR shared services support.
  • Support local HR programs such as separation procedures and document management.
  • Collaborate with departments on workforce planning and organizational design, conducting consultations and managing follow-up.
  • Assist hiring managers with interview preparation and coordinate candidate and new hire processes.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in HR policies and escalate issues as needed.
  • Track performance management compliance and oversee exit processes including interviews.
  • Administer special compensation, employee wellness, and tuition reimbursement programs.
  • Organize employee events, recognition programs, job fairs, and open enrollment activities.
  • Consult with managers on HR compliance and participate in policy development and revision.
  • Act as a change agent for strategic initiatives and serve as a super user for HR technology systems.
  • Conduct research to support HR policies, training, and strategic planning.
  • Lead local HR programs such as employee engagement and orientation.
  • Provide excellent customer service and coordinate office administrative support aligned with HR operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
