Role overview

HRP Group is hiring a part-time HR Consultant / outsourced HR Generalist to support client organisations remotely or in a hybrid setup. The role is based in Ireland and sits within a Dublin-based HR consultancy that has been operating since 2005. The business provides outsourced HR support on both project and retained assignments, helping clients stay legally compliant and maintain strong HR policies and procedures. Its client base includes some of Ireland’s largest companies, along with Government Departments and State Agencies.

The successful candidate will report to the directors and handle day-to-day HR activity across client companies. This is a busy, fast-moving position that calls for someone who can work independently, take a practical approach, and communicate confidently with people at all levels.

Key duties

You will manage a broad range of generalist HR support tasks for multiple clients, ensuring work is delivered efficiently and in line with best practice and Irish employment requirements.

Experience and capabilities

The ideal applicant will have around four years of HR experience in a generalist role. Prior exposure to employee relations is an advantage. You should be comfortable working on your own initiative, be highly organised, and bring strong interpersonal and written communication skills. Experience preparing contracts, handbooks, letters, meeting minutes, reports, and job advertisements is important. A high level of professionalism, discretion, energy, and adaptability is essential.

Technical proficiency

Strong computer skills are required, including practical experience with email, internet tools, MS Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint.
