Role Overview
The HR Associate will be instrumental in enhancing employee experience and ensuring efficient HR operations throughout the Asia Pacific region, focusing principally on Singapore. This role requires close collaboration with HR peers, business leaders, and stakeholders to advance people-focused initiatives that boost organizational culture, engagement, and operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive HR programs across the employee lifecycle to deliver a seamless employee experience and uphold operational standards regionally.
- Work alongside regional and global HR departments on strategic people projects, cross-border initiatives, and organizational development while maintaining strong inter-country relationships.
- Lead coordination of employee engagement activities, including company events, wellness schemes, recognition programs, and cultural campaigns promoting inclusiveness and high performance.
- Partner with internal teams to oversee HR operational tasks such as employee paperwork, onboarding, offboarding, internal transfers, policy management, and multidisciplinary HR projects.
- Generate and manage HR analytics, dashboards, and workforce reports to extract insights that inform business and HR strategies.
- Ensure adherence to local labor laws, government directives, and company policies by assisting with audits, submissions, employment documentation, and governance, especially in Singapore.
- Offer daily HR assistance by addressing inquiries, resolving employee issues, managing relations, and collaborating with stakeholders to achieve positive employee outcomes.
- Continuously identify and implement improvements in HR workflows, automating administrative duties and enhancing employee satisfaction through technology adoption.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or similar fields.
- Between 1 to 3 years' experience in HR, People Operations, or related areas; exceptional recent graduates with pertinent internships are welcome.
- Highly proactive and inquisitive, eager to learn, and willing to assume responsibilities beyond assigned tasks.
- Possess strong emotional intelligence and maturity with excellent communication skills to connect with diverse employees and stakeholders.
- Capable of managing multiple assignments effectively, navigating uncertain situations, and thriving in a dynamic environment.
- Meticulous with a robust ethical compass, accountable, and discreet in handling confidential matters.
- A collaborative mindset with problem-solving skills aimed at process improvement and fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin, necessary for regular interaction with regional teams and Mandarin-speaking colleagues, including those in China.
