Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Houseman to join our team at InterContinental Berlin. This role involves handling linen logistics, maintaining equipment, managing stock rooms, and supporting guest room preparation to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver clean linen to guest floors efficiently.
- Collect and transport soiled linen back to the laundry facility.
- Prepare VIP guest rooms meticulously according to established standards.
- Maintain and service cleaning machines and related equipment.
- Receive and verify weekly material orders for accuracy.
- Organize and upkeep all storage areas systematically.
- Clean guest footwear as needed.
- Perform special tasks such as polishing brass fittings, laundering curtains, and their maintenance.
Candidate Requirements
- Prior practical experience in housekeeping or similar environment.
- Dependable with the ability to handle physical work demands.
- Positive attitude and cooperative team player spirit.
- Proficiency in German and/or English languages.
