About the Role

Join Haven as a Housekeeping Porter, an essential member of the Cleaning Services team dedicated to maintaining pristine accommodation spaces and ensuring guests enjoy a comfortable stay. This role is available as full-time, part-time, or seasonal positions with pay rates up to £12.71 per hour, varying based on age.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh linens, pillows, and duvets for delivery and assist with returning used laundry for cleaning.
• Manage washing tasks for items such as curtains, duvets, and pillows to keep them clean and guest-ready.
• Maintain organisation of hire goods, oversee stock control, and track inventory levels to ensure supplies are well managed.
• Provide support with light cleaning duties in common areas and accommodations as needed.
• Consistently follow all health and safety guidelines and regulations.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience as a Housekeeping Porter or similar role is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Physical ability to lift, move, and handle cleaning supplies and equipment comfortably.
• Team player who enjoys collaborating with colleagues and is willing to assist wherever necessary.
• Flexibility to work during bank holidays and school holidays as required.
