Job Overview

Iceland Foods is seeking a Home Delivery Driver to join their team in Bedford, England. This role involves delivering groceries directly to customers, ensuring excellent service and safe handling of goods while working independently with varied shift timings between 6am and 11pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Load the delivery van safely, managing heavy lifting and manual handling.
• Adhere strictly to safe driving standards.
• Conduct regular vehicle checks before starting deliveries.
• Ensure all food items are delivered in optimal condition.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and represent the Iceland brand positively.
• Assist with in-store tasks when necessary.
• Manage time efficiently and work autonomously.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a valid full driving license held for a minimum of three years, with no more than six penalty points.
• Display a positive attitude, friendliness, and commitment to good customer experience.
• Be punctual and capable of meeting deadlines.
• Exhibit strong road safety awareness at all times.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly wage of £13.71.
