Home Delivery Driver

Overview

Iceland Foods is hiring Home Delivery Drivers who will act as the company's representative while out on the road, delivering groceries safely and ensuring customer satisfaction. This position offers an hourly wage of £13.71 and includes a variety of employee benefits focused on well-being and recognition.

Primary Responsibilities

• Load delivery vans safely, following proper heavy lifting and manual handling guidelines.
• Adhere strictly to safe driving practices at all times.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and checks before and during shifts.
• Ensure all food items are delivered in optimal condition to customers.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and represent Iceland positively.
• Assist with in-store duties when necessary.
• Work independently, managing time effectively and efficiently.
• Maintain flexibility to work variable shifts ranging between 6am and 11pm.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possess a full driving license with at least three years of driving experience and no more than six penalty points.
• Exhibit a positive, friendly attitude and a dedication to excellent customer care.
• Demonstrate punctuality and the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
• Have comprehensive knowledge and awareness of road safety regulations.
