About the role

This leadership position is responsible for shaping the company’s IT, cybersecurity, and digital transformation agenda so it supports broader business goals. The role combines enterprise technology management, security governance, and modernization initiatives across infrastructure, cloud, applications, and user services.

What you will do

• Set the direction for IT, cybersecurity, and digital transformation in line with organizational objectives.
• Design and roll out company-wide cybersecurity policies, standards, controls, and governance structures.
• Run core IT operations spanning infrastructure, cloud services, networks, enterprise applications, and employee-facing support.
• Advance digital change programs using automation, artificial intelligence, analytics, and newer technologies.
• Maintain alignment with international security standards, legal/regulatory obligations, and industry good practices.
• Build and oversee security operations, incident handling, vulnerability management, and risk management processes.
• Lead cyber risk reviews, audits, business continuity planning, and disaster recovery preparation.
• Own identity and access management, endpoint protection, cloud security, data protection, and network defense.
• Work closely with global stakeholders, business leaders, and technical teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
• Manage technology budgets, vendors, procurement activities, and overall service delivery.
• Develop, coach, and guide high-performing IT and cybersecurity teams while improving operational performance.
• Assess emerging technologies and recommend solutions that improve both business outcomes and security strength.

Candidate profile

The preferred applicant should bring deep experience in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, digital transformation, or technology leadership, ideally across large enterprises or Global Capability Centers (GCCs). The role calls for strong capability in cybersecurity governance, information security, risk, compliance, and security operations, along with practical exposure to cloud security across AWS, Azure, or GCP, network security, IAM, endpoint security, SIEM, SOC, and vulnerability management. Familiarity with enterprise infrastructure, cloud environments, AI, automation, DevSecOps, and digital platforms is important, as is a solid grasp of frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS Controls. Experience in vendor management, IT governance, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination is also expected. Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, ITIL, CCSP, or Azure/AWS Security are considered an advantage. Strong leadership, communication, strategic thinking, and team management skills are essential.

Eligibility

Applicants should hold a B.Tech / B.E. degree in any specialization. A master’s degree is preferred.
