Role Responsibilities

• Perform a range of small to medium home and commercial maintenance and repair projects, with task durations from a few hours up to two days.
• Communicate effectively with customers, managing their expectations by explaining needed work and anticipated costs.
• Create lasting customer relationships by consistently providing excellent service and following a proven process designed to impress clients every time.

Performance Metrics

• Maintain high customer satisfaction scores via post-service surveys.
• Achieve revenue goals by leveraging opportunities for additional services during visits.
• Ensure accurate invoicing, material procurement, and payment collection on-site.
• Complete all work correctly the first time, with a one-year guarantee on service quality.

Qualifications and Skills

• Residence within the nearby area.
• A minimum of five years’ paid experience as a handyman.
• Ownership of personal tools necessary for the job.
• Meet insurance requirements for operating a company vehicle.
• Pass background and driving record checks.
• Physical capability to lift 50 pounds and work safely at heights or overhead for extended times.
• Maintain a professional appearance and care for the company-provided vehicle.
• Expertise in at least three areas such as carpentry, bathroom and kitchen upgrades, interior/exterior painting, drywall repairs, general plumbing and electrical work (as permitted), flooring installation/refinishing, and knowledge of building codes.
