Guest Experience Lead

Overview

Inter Island Group is seeking a Guest Experience Lead to deliver exceptional hospitality service by welcoming guests warmly, supporting food and beverage operations, and enhancing the overall dining experience. This role ensures smooth daily outlet functioning, maintains service standards, and fosters guest satisfaction in a dynamic restaurant setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests professionally upon arrival and escort them to their tables with warmth.
• Describe menu selections clearly and respond to guest inquiries, offering recommendations when applicable.
• Engage with guests during food and beverage service, ensuring timely and attentive attention.
• Process orders accurately, manage transactions using the cash register, and handle cash responsibly.
• Assist in operational tasks such as restocking supplies, polishing cutlery, and other designated duties.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area in line with hygiene and service protocols.
• Interact with guests to provide a hospitable and memorable experience, consistently meeting service expectations.

Requirements

• At least GCE ‘O’ Levels or an equivalent qualification.
• Prior experience in food and beverage service, ideally within hotels or established dining venues.
• Customer service experience in front-facing roles is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Confidence in explaining menu items and addressing guest questions.
• Basic proficiency in cash handling and POS systems.
• Capable of functioning well in a high-paced service environment.
• Fundamental understanding of food and beverage service standards.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods in environments that may be hot, humid, or wet.
• Willingness to work in a smoking area restaurant.

Additional Information

Employment entails five working days per week under a rotating shift schedule. Salary offered for the Guest Experience Lead position is SGD 3,800 monthly, requiring a minimum of two years of leadership experience in a reputable or well-structured restaurant.
