Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a tidy, orderly, and well-arranged grocery area to ensure continuous customer readiness.
• Perform regular stock rotations and promptly remove expired or damaged goods to uphold product freshness and quality.
• Verify correct pricing and signage of merchandise; adhere to procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, and labeling.
• Follow stringent food safety, sanitation, and cleaning protocols to sustain a safe and hygienic workspace.
• Stock shelves and modular displays, complete downstocking tasks, apply product protection measures, and execute set-ups for flex modulars and new shelf caps.
• Observe Health and Safety standards and company policies to ensure a clean, safe, and hazard-free work environment.
• Demonstrate a flexible schedule by working various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands.

Challenges and Physical Requirements

• Manage a high volume of tasks efficiently in a fast-moving setting, especially during overnight hours, requiring planning and focus to stay productive.
• Maintain energy throughout shifts by effective time and workload management.
• Handle physical tasks such as long hours of standing, bending, and lifting items up to 20 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Carry out repetitive stocking, zoning, and organizing duties with consistent attention to detail to maintain store standards.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this role is $17.75.
