Graphic Illustrator (CorelDRAW Required)

About the Role

We are looking for a talented Graphic Illustrator to join a well-established family-owned business located in Plano, TX. With over four decades in operation, our client specializes in designing custom lapel pins and embroidered patches for leading organizations nationwide. The role involves transforming ideas from pencil sketches into polished, camera-ready artwork that meets client specifications.

Responsibilities

• Create original, hand-drawn designs and translate them into vector-based digital illustrations suitable for commercial production.
• Develop visual concepts that effectively communicate specific messages for various clients.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are consistently met.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years experience as a graphic artist or illustrator, with proven skills in pencil-to-paper drawing, not limited to digital or clip art work.
• Proficiency in CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator, and expertise in vector art.
• Knowledgeable in contemporary art techniques including 2D, 3D, CGI, and AI-driven artistic tools.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and the capacity to work independently.
• Excellent communication abilities and a customer service-oriented approach.
• High school diploma or GED required; a college degree is preferred.

• This position is a direct hire and requires daily on-site presence at the Plano office; remote work is not available.
