Job Overview
Applied Technology and Management (ATM), a Geosyntec company, seeks experienced Geotechnical Inspectors to join its project site management team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Candidates should have at least six years of relevant experience to ensure quality management and supervise waterfront and coastal structure projects effectively.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee site activities to verify compliance with contractual documents, including technical specs, construction drawings, sampling and CQA plans.
- Conduct regular inspections of ongoing construction sites.
- Compile daily, weekly, and progress field reports.
- Ensure accurate and consistent project documentation adhering to company policies.
- Collaborate with contractors, project managers, engineers, and clients promoting open communication and teamwork through progress meetings.
- Follow policies in site-specific health and safety plans alongside company Environmental Health and Safety procedures.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Education and experience combinations accepted: high school diploma/GED plus 6+ years related experience; or two-year diploma plus 4+ years; or bachelor’s degree in civil/geotechnical engineering plus 2 years; or equivalent mix of training and experience.
- Solid understanding of site investigation, quality assurance, and construction management processes related to marine, geotechnical, or coastal projects.
- Ability to simultaneously monitor multiple construction activities.
- Proficiency in Windows software such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access.
- Strong writing skills with keen attention to detail.
- Physical capability to lift/move weights up to 20 kg unaided and 21-45 kg with assistance or appropriate controls.
- Physical ability to perform duties requiring standing, walking, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
- Enthusiastic about working outdoors and developing a career in engineering consulting.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently or collaboratively within a team, demonstrating a robust work ethic.
- Possession of a valid UAE driver's license.
