Position Overview
This opportunity is with a restaurant operated by an independent franchisee licensed to use McDonald’s branding and products but separate from McDonald’s USA. Employment matters including hiring, supervision, and scheduling are handled solely by the franchisee, not McDonald’s USA.
Compensation and Benefits
Competitive starting salary beginning at $65,000 annually, with potential monthly bonuses based on performance. Working within a family-run business with attractive pay. Role Description
The General Manager oversees the overall profitability and operation of the restaurant, ensuring adherence to McDonald’s stringent quality, service, and cleanliness standards. The role involves collaborating with senior leadership to set strategic goals and implementing actionable plans to accomplish these targets.
The position requires leading a team of Department Managers by supporting their goal setting, tracking progress, coaching, and providing guidance to enhance departmental performance, thereby improving restaurant outcomes.
The manager may also be in charge of recruiting, training, and developing both Department and Shift Managers to build a capable leadership team for the future.
Candidate Profile
Ideal applicants will have proven General Manager experience, particularly running high-volume quick service restaurant locations, or experience in hospitality or retail sectors.
Applicants must be 18 years or older to hold managerial roles in corporate operated restaurants.
