About the Role
An internationally acclaimed technology enterprise specializing in essential networking solutions is seeking a General Manager for the Asia-Pacific region based in Singapore. This senior executive role requires a blend of strategic oversight and direct involvement in business development, focusing on sectors such as telecommunications, utilities, transportation, and government agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve substantial annual revenue growth across product lines, software offerings, services, and customer support.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities among enterprise clients while deepening partnerships with existing strategic customers.
- Establish enduring collaborations with telecommunications providers, utility companies, and public sector entities.
- Lead and nurture sales and technical pre-sales teams throughout the region.
- Ensure precise forecasting and effective pipeline management.
- Design and execute regional market entry strategies and establish a strong competitive position.
- Collaborate extensively with product management, engineering teams, service departments, and top-level executives.
Candidate Profile
- Extensive leadership experience in enterprise technology sales within the Asia-Pacific market.
- In-depth understanding of telecommunications networking products and solutions.
- Documented success in closing deals with Tier 1 operators and critical infrastructure customers.
- Established executive level connections with major organizations such as SoftBank, NTT, Singtel Group, TEPCO, and Chubu Electric Power.
- Proficient in managing both direct and indirect sales channels.
- Demonstrates strong leadership qualities, negotiation expertise, and strategic business planning skills.
- Fluent in English at a professional level; additional proficiency in Asian languages is a plus.
