Functional Tester

Role Overview

We are seeking a Functional Tester based in Singapore with 2-5 years of experience specializing in payments testing within banking or financial systems. The candidate will be responsible for preparing and executing test cases, validating results, and collaborating across multiple teams to ensure the quality and timely delivery of software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, perform, and validate functional test cases to ensure application quality.
• Coordinate testing schedules and activities with project teams to maintain deadlines.
• Collaborate closely with vendors, IT departments, and business stakeholders to identify and resolve defects.
• Assist in root cause analysis, verify solutions, and provide post-deployment support.
• Handle multiple testing tasks simultaneously while maintaining quality standards.
• Own the testing scope assigned and work cooperatively with all involved parties.

Candidate Profile

• Experience in software testing with a preference for payments, banking, or financial systems.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Capable of working independently while managing competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication skills and effective stakeholder engagement.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
