About the Role
Jovie is hiring dependable, caring sitters to support families in Easton, PA and nearby communities. The company serves families across Washington, DC, Bethesda, MD, Northern Virginia, and Philadelphia, PA, along with surrounding areas. This role is open to candidates who genuinely enjoy working with children and want to be part of a growing caregiver team.
Schedule Options
Hiring is open for full-time, part-time, and seasonal sitter positions. Available shift windows include 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM. Weekend availability is acceptable as long as the candidate also has three weekdays with full availability, Monday through Friday. Shifts may range from 4 to 12 hours.
What You’ll Do
Sitters are expected to provide attentive childcare for children from 6 weeks to 13 years old, planning activities that fit each child’s age and stage of development. The work includes playing games, doing crafts, preparing meals and snacks, keeping children safe, and handling light cleanup in play areas and the kitchen after activities, with help from children when appropriate. The role also involves building positive relationships with different families and children.

Candidates must have reliable transportation, be able to travel up to 30 miles, pass a comprehensive background screening, and be legally authorized to work in the United States.
