Role Overview

We are offering a full-time Lifeguard role at Places Leisure, providing a dynamic and enjoyable workplace among motivated colleagues. This position involves fostering collaboration and encouraging excellence in service delivery. Candidates with a National Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) are preferred; however, we welcome individuals who are conscientious about safety, strong swimmers, and keen to develop lifeguard skills, as we provide training to help attain the qualification.

Starting as a Lifeguard opens multiple career paths within Places Leisure, including opportunities in Operational Management, Sales, Fitness, and Customer Service. Continuous training and competency evaluations will be provided, along with first aid qualifications, swimming teacher certifications, and apprenticeship options.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise patrons and fellow lifeguards using swimming facilities, ensuring safety protocols are rigorously followed.
• Govern the health and safety standards of all pool users and oversee the operation of the facility.
• Maintain high vigilance and attention to detail to guarantee customer safety during facility usage.
• Deliver excellent customer service with professionalism and friendliness, consistently surpassing expectations.
• Ensure cleanliness standards are upheld and actively participate in maintaining facility hygiene.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Possession of a National Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is essential.
