Role Overview

As a Frontend Software Engineer based in Chennai, you will be instrumental in designing and building scalable, high-availability web applications. Your expertise in modern frontend technologies and user interface design will help shape exceptional user experiences for YouTrip's customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable web applications leveraging modern frontend frameworks like React and Redux.
• Write maintainable, efficient, and clean code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Conduct thorough code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor less experienced engineers.
• Collaborate closely with backend developers to integrate frontend components seamlessly with server-side APIs.
• Enhance performance through techniques such as lazy loading, code splitting, and caching to maximize speed and scalability.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues, including root cause analysis and implementation of effective fixes.
• Keep abreast of the latest web development technologies and trends, sharing knowledge to benefit the team.
• Engage actively in Agile/Scrum processes including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure timely feature delivery.
• Communicate project progress, technical solutions, and updates effectively with stakeholders and management.
• Monitor web application performance, usability, and security continuously, applying improvements as required.

Candidate Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in web development with a strong focus on frontend technologies and frameworks.
• Proficient in frontend web development using TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, React, and Redux.
• Familiarity with mobile app development using Flutter and Dart is a plus.
• Solid grasp of frontend web architecture and user interface design principles.
• Experienced in automated unit and integration tests ensuring high code quality and stability.
• Capable of collaborating effectively across multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive mindset for innovative solutions.
• Dedicated to writing clean, maintainable code with a strong emphasis on code quality.
