Front End Developer

Job Overview

We are seeking a Front End Developer with 2 to 3 years of professional experience in Next.js and modern JavaScript frameworks. In this position, you will be responsible for creating efficient, scalable, and user-friendly web applications. Collaborating with designers, backend developers, and product teams, you will help deliver seamless user experiences and maintain high standards in code quality and UI/UX design decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in multinational digital commerce projects, contributing to digital platform development.
• Engage with users, clients, product managers, and developers to analyze requirements and user workflows, translating UI mockups into functional software.
• Work on both client projects and internal product/service improvement initiatives.
• Customize and enhance user interfaces and design components for enterprise-scale platforms, ensuring functional code that aligns with customer needs.
• Utilize front-end technologies and JavaScript design principles to develop and implement front-end solutions.
• Validate the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for speed and scalability.
• Stay current with emerging practices in the web development community to innovate user experience delivery.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proficient in crafting Single Page Applications and Multi Page Applications using JavaScript, Next.js, TypeScript, RESTful APIs, Jest for unit testing, HTML, CSS, and SASS.
• Solid experience in UI development and integration for web or mobile platforms.
• Familiarity with Storybook (Next.js/React), Figma, Azure DevOps, DOM manipulation, responsive design, and SCSS.
• Working knowledge of Functional JavaScript concepts such as Promises and Closures.
• Understanding of asynchronous HTTP requests and partial page updates.
• Preferred experience with SonarQube, Fastify (Backend For Frontend), Monorepo architecture, Server Side Rendering (SSR), and Client Side Rendering (CSR).
• Ability to deliver work adhering to deadlines within agile methodologies and DevOps environments while maintaining ownership of deliverables.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, capable of working both independently and within a collaborative team.

Education and Experience

Applicants should possess a graduation degree. A minimum of 2 to 3 years relevant professional experience is required.

Additional Information

Location for this role is Kochi, Kerala, India. The position is full-time and onsite. This opportunity involves participation in a multinational digital commerce team with a focus on delivering cutting-edge front-end solutions.
