About Bee Influence
Bee Influence is a dedicated talent and marketing agency specializing in community, culture, and climate-focused initiatives. We represent prominent figures in climate, sustainability, nature conservation, social justice, and cultural sectors. Our collaborations extend beyond typical influencer campaigns, encompassing speaking engagements, consultancy, media appearances, book promotions, podcasts, advisory roles, workshops, and strategic partnerships with organizations sharing our talent’s values.
Role Overview
We seek an experienced Talent Manager to oversee purpose-driven talent, understanding success as more than revenue but as building enduring careers grounded in integrity and meaningful impact. This role involves managing opportunities across commercial, academic, charitable, and public sectors while advising talent on balancing commercial progress with personal values, wellbeing, and career development.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily interactions with designated talent.
- Source, negotiate, and handle both commercial and non-commercial opportunities, including PR, event invitations, and gifting.
- Organize contracts, schedules, deliverables, and maintain client correspondence.
- Discover new partnership prospects aligned with each talent's objectives.
- Manage diverse engagements such as brand partnerships, speaking roles, conferences, university events, consultancy projects, workshops, advisory tasks, podcasts, media appearances, and book launches.
- Assess briefs and agreements for potential risks and provide guidance to talent accordingly.
- Act as an advocate for talent during negotiations ensuring fair fees, accessibility accommodations, and favorable working conditions.
- Foster long-term collaborations with brands, charities, NGOs, publishers, universities, and agencies.
- Occasionally attend UK-based events in support of talent participation.
Ethical Partnership Evaluation
A significant aspect of the role is rigorously assessing potential opportunities to verify alignment with both Bee Influence's and talent’s ethical standards. This includes investigating greenwashing, controversial industry ties, company ownership, political sensitivities, conflicts with personal values, and reputational risks. While not requiring climate expertise, thorough research, critical questioning, and measured recommendations are essential to maintain integrity.
Candidate Profile
- Extensive talent management or creator representation experience beyond entry-level.
- Proven success handling opportunities beyond traditional influencer brand campaigns, including offline engagements.
- Strong commercial negotiation and contract review capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Outstanding organizational ability and multitasking proficiency.
- Demonstrated interest and experience in climate, sustainability, social impact, or purpose-driven work.
- Confidence in challenging opportunities that conflict with talent’s values.
Preferred Background
- Experience managing brand partnerships, speaking engagements, conferences, university collaborations, NGOs, charities, consultancy projects, workshops, advisory roles, podcast and media appearances, authors, and thought leadership campaigns.
