About The Business
Tata Semiconductor Manufacturing Private Limited (TSMPL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd. and part of the Tata Group, is focused on manufacturing precision components. TSMPL is developing India's first cutting-edge AI-enabled Semiconductor Foundry, which will produce chips for applications including power management ICs, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCUs), and advanced computing logic. These chips cater to sectors such as automotive, computing, data storage, wireless communication, and artificial intelligence. Key Responsibilities
- Lead transfer procedures of 28-110nm frame making technologies from partner facilities, collaborating closely with the Fab integration team to ensure seamless technology transfer.
- Implement and manage frame cell placement rules tailored for 28-110nm platform technologies.
- Collaborate with fabrication teams including LT, PEI, and Metrology to implement and refine frame making requirements.
- Develop and configure frame making programs within UNIX/Linux environments.
- Design and establish an automated frame making system.
- Liaise with vendors to define frame making data specifications such as GDS and cell coordinates.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Science Engineering, IT Engineering, or related fields.
- In-depth knowledge of frame making procedures and Laser Indirect Transfer Overlay (LITO) mark processes.
- Expertise with frame placement software tools such as Compose, AMAS, Mega, or similar platforms.
- Ability to work effectively across diverse cultures and international locations.
- Good team collaboration skills paired with an innovative and competitive mindset.
Experience Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in the semiconductor sector, predominantly within frame making and layout disciplines.
- Proven success in transitioning new technologies into high-volume manufacturing environments.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities utilizing design of experiments and analytical methodologies.
