Flutter Developer - Financial Services Insurance Domain (Contract-to-Hire)

Role Overview

We are looking for a Flutter Developer skilled in crafting robust and scalable mobile applications within the Financial Services Insurance sector. This position focuses on leveraging the Flutter framework to build seamless cross-platform applications that enhance insurance processes and customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mobile solutions using Flutter and Dart, addressing functions such as onboarding, policy servicing, claims handling, billing, and engagement in the insurance domain.
• Create reusable UI components and manage application state utilizing frameworks like Provider, Bloc, or Riverpod suitable for both Android and iOS platforms.
• Integrate front-end mobile applications with backend APIs, authentication systems, and enterprise infrastructures prevalent in financial and insurance services.
• Maintain high standards of application performance, security, stability, and accessibility according to industry best practices.
• Collaborate closely with UX teams to transform wireframes and requirements into superior mobile interfaces.
• Engage in code reviews, adhere to coding standards, and support CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
• Assist in testing phases by identifying defects and validating critical insurance user workflows end to end.
• Participate actively in Agile processes including sprint planning, stand-ups, refinements, and retrospectives.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Proven hands-on experience in Flutter and Dart for building cross-platform mobile apps.
• Solid understanding of mobile app development lifecycle, component lifecycle, and various state management solutions.
• Expertise in integrating apps with RESTful APIs, handling JSON, managing authentication flows, and implementing secure root detection strategies.
• Experience with deployment processes on Android and iOS platforms, version control usage, and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Comprehension of insurance operations including customer onboarding, policy and payment management, claims processing, and agent workflows.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, SDLC workflows, secure coding practices, and app performance optimization.
