Role Overview
We seek a skilled Fitter Technician to join our team in Chandigarh. The role involves assembling, aligning, and installing mechanical parts and pipe systems precisely as per engineering specifications. It also requires maintaining and repairing equipment to minimize operational downtime, fabricating metal components, and strictly adhering to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Accurately build and assemble mechanical units and pipe systems following engineering drawings.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections to identify and address mechanical issues promptly.
- Replace defective parts and components to maintain smooth functioning of machinery.
- Fabricate parts by cutting, shaping, grinding, and welding metals using designated tools and machines.
- Utilize measuring tools such as calipers to ensure precision in fabrication and assembly.
- Comply with all safety standards, wear appropriate protective gear, and ensure installations meet industry quality guidelines.
Requirements
- Experience in mechanical assembly and installation work according to technical drawings.
- Familiarity with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting mechanical faults.
- Proficient in using hand tools, welding equipment, and precision measuring instruments.
- In-depth understanding of workplace safety practices and industry compliance standards.

Compensation
The monthly salary ranges from 12000 to 18000 INR based on experience and skills.
