This presents a distinguished opportunity for an ambitious Financial Controller to become part of the Senior Leadership Team with promising prospects for advancement to Finance Director aligned with the company's projected growth.

Role Overview

The Financial Controller position involves a balanced mix of commercial and operational responsibilities. Reporting to senior business stakeholders, this role demands close collaboration with the operations team focusing on costing functions.

• Lead and nurture the finance team ensuring their development
• Produce and present financial reports to the Board as required
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring
• Supervise all costing activities and review costs relative to budget
• Oversee statutory filings and compliance
• Coordinate Year End processes and act as liaison with Group Auditors
• Provide oversight of the IT department's functions
• Prepare and assess business development proposals

Candidate Profile

• Qualified accountant, ideally with manufacturing sector experience
• Proven leadership capabilities in managing a team
• Strong expertise in technical financial accounting

• Self-driven and motivated individual who excels both independently and in team settings
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities
