Role Overview

This full-time, remote role as a Financial Controller involves managing all daily accounting activities including maintaining the general ledger, handling accounts payable and receivable, coordinating payroll, and managing cash flow. The position requires preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements and management reports to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies. It will also support budgeting and forecasting processes, track key financial metrics, and deliver analytical insights to senior leadership to drive strategic decision-making and enhanced execution. Additional responsibilities include refining financial processes, implementing internal controls, collaborating with advisory teams on financial analysis related to clients, and aiding in the deployment of tools and systems that improve financial reporting and transparency.

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong foundation in Accounting and Finance with solid understanding of GAAP principles and hands-on experience managing core accounting operations.
• Proficient in producing accurate, timely financial statements and comprehensive management reports for executive leadership.
• Advanced analytical capabilities to interpret financial data, detect trends, and suggest evidence-based actions.
• Educational credentials such as a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; professional certifications like CPA are highly valued.
• Experience within professional services, advisory roles, or environments involving multiple entities; proficient with cloud-based accounting platforms and advanced Excel skills; meticulous attention to detail and strong integrity.
• Ability to independently manage work in a remote setting, prioritize various tasks, effectively communicate with executives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
