Finance Manager

Overview

The Finance Manager role at Honeywell Technologies involves leading financial management of the HBS Airports business, overseeing a P&L exceeding $100 million. This position focuses on detailed financial analysis, operational supervision, and conducting business reviews that facilitate strategic decisions and drive improved performance. The role additionally covers management of the HBS Research & Development budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze financial metrics such as pricing, orders, revenue, variable contribution margin, fixed costs, free cash flow, and operational conversion to identify enhancement opportunities.
• Collaborate with regional and functional leadership to manage forecasting and planning activities including Pulse, Short Range Outlook (SRO), Annual Operating Plan (AOP), ensuring financial projections are accurate and timely.
• Facilitate monthly operational and financial reviews involving risk and opportunity assessment, performance evaluation, variance analysis, and development of aligned action plans.
• Oversee and control the HBS Research & Development budget to support strategic objectives and optimize cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Professional credentials such as Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant, or a master's degree in Finance or Business Administration.
• Extensive experience of over 10 years in finance roles.
• Strong business partnership skills with a proactive approach to commercial financial excellence.
• Experience interacting with global customers and collaborating across organizational levels and functions.
• Demonstrated strategic partnership capabilities to manage financial targets effectively.
• Experience in managing business finance metrics and utilizing analytical tools including Power BI, advanced Excel.
• Familiarity with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Essbase, and Hyperion.
• Ability to recognize complex issue patterns and make timely, consistent decisions.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and peer influence skills.
