Finance Data Analysis and Control Specialist - MESEA

Job Overview

Alfa Laval is seeking a dedicated Financial Data Analytics and Control Specialist for the MESEA region. The role focuses on analyzing and delivering comprehensive financial insights, managing budgets and forecasts, overseeing sales and cost center controlling, as well as supporting the financial and sales data warehouse.

Primary Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise budget preparation, financial forecasting, and service operations costing updates.
• Maintain and enhance financial and sales analytics tools and databases.
• Conduct regular analysis of regional business performance, including cost analysis and allocation.
• Address ad hoc financial data requests from various business units.
• Support month-end and year-end financial closings with quality control measures.
• Prepare quarterly and year-end data submissions for corporate management.
• Extract, cleanse, and transform financial data from multiple internal systems.
• Develop and optimize self-service dashboards for finance stakeholders.
• Collaborate with IT and data engineers to resolve data quality issues and enhance data pipelines.
• Promote data literacy by guiding stakeholders in self-service analytics.
• Continuously improve financial processes and performance measurements (KPIs).
• Deliver excellent customer service to both internal and external clients.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• Technical expertise in managing databases, data analytics tools, and programming.
• Experience working with databases and financial data analytics.
• Strong understanding of business operations, financial data flows, and processes.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in similar financial roles.
• Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines with high data accuracy.
• Strong business acumen and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
