About the Role
Based in Dublin 15, this is a full-time, permanent Finance Business Partner position with a globally expanding technology company. Reporting directly to a seasoned CFO, the role offers significant commercial influence within a dynamic business environment. The compensation package includes a base salary of up to 20k, plus a discretionary bonus up to 20%, pension benefits, health coverage, and 25 days of annual leave. The working arrangement allows for hybrid flexibility with one day of remote work per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead finance contact for assigned business units, establishing trusted partnerships with senior leaders to deeply understand financial results and cost drivers.
- Participate actively in leadership and operational meetings, delivering up-to-date financial insights.
- Critically evaluate business decisions to ensure financial consequences are fully considered before commitments are made.
- Examine financial and operational data from various sources to identify patterns, risks, and opportunities.
- Support FP&A functions in budgeting and contribute to drafting consolidated group forecasts and monthly management accounts.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, monitor the implementation of initiatives, and report progress to the CFO.
- Develop strong collaborative relationships across commercial, operational, and technology teams.
- Clearly and confidently present financial findings and suggestions to the CFO and senior leadership.
- Work closely with the broader finance team to promote process alignment and continuous enhancements of tools and methodologies.
Qualifications and Skills
- Certified accountant credentials (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with experience in business partnering or commercial finance roles beyond qualification.
- Background in technology, SaaS, or private equity-backed settings is highly valued.
- Robust analytical capabilities comfortable handling large datasets and constructing financial models to guide decisions.
- Strong communication skills with aptitude for simplifying financial information for non-finance audiences.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with financial reporting or business intelligence platforms such as Power BI or Tableau.
