Factory Manager

About the Role

Glutape India Pvt. Ltd. seeks an independent and proactive Factory Manager to oversee daily factory operations at their Bhiwandi location in Maharashtra. This hands-on role encompasses management of production, manpower, inventory, stores, dispatch, quality control, and maintaining discipline on the shop floor, to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and monitor daily production processes to meet daily and monthly targets.
• Maximize manpower, machinery, and material utilization while minimizing delays, downtime, and wastage.
• Lead and manage shop-floor personnel, maintain discipline, assign workforce based on needs, and oversee attendance and punctuality.
• Handle operational challenges and manpower issues as they arise.
• Collaborate with stores to ensure timely raw material availability and maintain accurate inventory and work-in-progress tracking.
• Coordinate dispatch planning to ensure prompt shipment of finished goods, aligning production and inventory efforts with delivery timelines.
• Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality standards, safety protocols, and 5S housekeeping practices.
• Maintain and prepare daily production and operational reports, monitor workforce productivity, and escalate issues with actionable solutions.

Requirements

• ITI, Diploma, or Graduate degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Electrical, Chemical engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of manufacturing experience, with proven ability managing shop-floor workers and operations.
• Experience in production planning, manpower management, inventory control, stores and dispatch coordination, and reporting is highly preferred.
• Knowledge and experience in industries such as adhesives, chemicals, paints, polymers, plastics, packaging, FMCG, industrial manufacturing, or building materials is advantageous.

Additional Information

Location: Bhiwandi, Maharashtra
Reporting to: Management
Salary Range: ₹30,000 to ₹35,000 per month.
