Overview
A reputable family-owned freight forwarding company based in Felixstowe is seeking an Export Specialist focused on road freight. This role offers a stable work environment with opportunities for professional advancement and ownership of the export handling process.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee complete road freight export shipments from booking through to delivery.
- Manage customs clearance processes including preparation of ENS, Transit documents, CNS forms, and utilizing systems like Destin8 and MultiFreight.
- Coordinate transportation logistics by communicating effectively with haulage providers.
- Ensure accurate and timely invoicing for customers.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in managing road freight export operations.
- Sound knowledge of customs regulations, clearance procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with freight management software such as Destin8, CNS, and MultiFreight.
- Proactive attitude, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to resolve issues calmly under pressure.
