Role overview

This is a contract opportunity for an Excel Expert to support business operations and strategy work from a remote setup in the United Kingdom. The assignment is designed for someone who can work across 10 to 40 hours each week and provide practical, high-quality Excel solutions.

What you’ll do

Assess intricate Excel workbooks used in business operations and strategic planning, then improve their structure and usability.
Share clear feedback and practical examples of strong Excel practices for operational scenarios.
Create, document, and pass along templates or solutions that can be used for AI training and learning workflows.
Work with internal teams to uncover important processes and operational pain points reflected in Excel files.
Test and model realistic business situations by using advanced Excel capabilities.

What we’re looking for

Advanced command of Microsoft Excel, including sophisticated formulas, functions, and automation features.
Hands-on background building Excel-based solutions in business operations or consulting settings.
Excellent analytical ability to tackle complex business issues outside of finance using Excel.
Strong written and spoken communication skills, along with a sharp eye for detail.
Practical experience with data analysis, scenario planning, and process improvement in Excel.

Working terms

The engagement is remote and contract-based. Compensation is set between $40 and $55 per hour, and the expected workload is 10–40 hours per week.
