Internship Overview
This part-time internship spans approximately 10 to 14 weeks and offers a hands-on apprenticeship in live event production. Interns actively participate in actual client event projects, developing vital technical, creative, and organizational skills essential for successful event delivery. Throughout the experience, participants will familiarize themselves with the entire production cycle—from initial planning stages through to show execution—while gaining practical knowledge of industry-standard tools, documentation processes, on-screen content creation, and event logistics.
As interns progress, they will assume more responsibilities under the guidance and feedback of the Event Production team. Beyond core production tasks, there may be opportunities to contribute to cross-departmental projects, enhancing insight into collaborative efforts that lead to outstanding client results. This internship can either be paid or undertaken for academic credit, depending on the participant's institution.
Candidate Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a bachelor's degree program in Event Management, Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, Theatre, Media Production, or a related area.
- Availability to commit roughly 10 hours weekly throughout the internship duration.
- Dependable high-speed internet access.
- Access to a Mac computer capable of running all necessary production software for the entire program.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Preferred but not mandatory: Experience in events, theatre, marketing, creative services, or familiarity with presentation and design software.
